Re-Packing a Cribbing Kit.
It is important to Pack or
Re-Pack a CribPac Cribbing Kit.
CribPac Cribbing Kits are
designed to carry and deploy quality hardwood cribbing to the scene of
an emergency, fast and efficiently.
If the pack is not packed
properly it will not deploy properly.
Start by emptying the carrying
bag of all cribbing and plywood plate.
The bag has a masonite bottom.
That should remain in the bag.
Place the bag on it's side
with the flaps on the outside folded back.
Place 4 (four) 4"X4" blocks
in the bag.
The blocks will hold the
bottom in place.
Place another row of 4"X4"
blocks in the bag
It is best to have all the
handles in the same direction.
Place the final row of 4"X4"
in the bag with both blue wedges.
The blue wedges should replace
one of the center blocks.
Continue with the 2"X4" with
green wedges replacing one block.
place the final 1"X4" cribbing
with 2 (two) red wedges in the center
Slide the plywood plate
in than pull the bag upright.
CribPac Cribbing Kits are
designed to be carried by two people using the lower handles
This is an older style bag. The current production bag is made of black Ballistic NYLON with the lower handles made of yellow material. The lower handles have been raised to afford better balance when carrying the pack.
The CribPac cribbing bag is of the highest quality and although it looks good it is designed to with stand the toughest field conditions. Don't be afraid to roll or drop the kit if it's easier then lifting it. If it fails send it back for repairs or replacement. We want to see the failure so the design can be improved.
THANK YOU and remember "TRAIN HARD and WORK SAFE!"
